Job Purpose:
The Operations Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing operational data to support efficient day-to-day business operations and continuous process improvement. The role focuses on monitoring key operational metrics, identifying inefficiencies or anomalies, and providing data-driven insights to improve performance, service quality, and scalability.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operational Performance Analysis
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics such as volume, turnaround time, backlog, error rates, and service levels.
- Identify trends, bottlenecks, and performance gaps across operational processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis on operational issues and performance deviations.
2. Reporting & Dashboarding
- Design, build, and maintain operational dashboards and recurring reports.
- Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all reporting outputs.
3. Process Improvement Support
- Provide analytical support for process optimization, automation, and workflow improvements.
- Measure the impact of operational changes and initiatives using data.
- Recommend improvements based on insights derived from operational data.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operation team to understand business processes and data needs.
- Support operational reviews, planning, and decision-making with data insights.
- Translate complex data findings into clear and actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
5. Data Quality & Governance
- Validate data sources and ensure the integrity of operational data.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or reporting issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Document data definitions, metrics logic, and reporting methodologies.
6. Ad-hoc & Deep-Dive Analysis
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to address operational issues, management queries, and special projects.
- Conduct deep-dive investigations into anomalies, performance drops, or operational incidents.
- Support audits, reviews, and compliance requirements with data analysis when needed.
7. Continuous Improvement & Automation
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate reports and improve analytics workflows.
- Enhance monitoring and alerting mechanisms for key operational metrics.
- Stay informed on best practices in operations analytics and data visualization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Economics is preferable.
- Strong understanding of statistical techniques, hypothesis testing, and probability.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
