Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Proven experience operating AWS cloud environments at scale.
  • Strong proficiency with AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and identity and access management in AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Relevant AWS certifications are highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Manage and maintain enterprise infrastructure platforms across development, staging, and production environments, including compute, storage, virtualisation, and supporting systems.
  • Support infrastructure modernisation and on-premises to cloud migration initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Administer and optimise virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), including patching, capacity planning, performance tuning, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Provide L2/L3 infrastructure support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and operational support for critical platform services.
  • Implement infrastructure automation, monitoring, observability, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform stability, scalability, security, and continuous improvement initiatives.
