Responsibilities
Endoscopy Centre
Registered Nurse
Assist doctors during Endoscopic procedures and minor surgical procedures within RN scope of practice
Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, level of consciousness and clinical condition before, during and after procedures; promptly handle and report abnormal findingsPerform venipuncture and blood sampling as required, and ensure proper labelling and handling of specimens
Provide professional nursing care to patients before, during and after endoscopic and minor surgical procedures
Provide immediate post‑procedure care, recovery monitoring and discharge instructions, including education on post‑sedation precautions and follow‑upEnsure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, industry highest standard practices and private healthcare facilities ordinance, etc
Perform venipuncture and blood sampling as required, and ensure proper labelling and handling of specimens
Ensure equipment is in proper function, managing instruments, administering medications, documenting patient care, and educating patients and families
Maintain a clean, safe and infection‑controlled environment in the Day Procedure Centre
Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, industry highest standard practices and private healthcare facilities ordinance, etc
Maintain accurate and complete nursing records, procedure documentation and incident reporting in accordance with centre and regulatory requirements
Assist in stock control and daily administrative duties in Day Procedure Centre
Reprocessing of surgical instruments & endoscopes if necessary
Handle any tasks assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
Valid Basic Life Support certificate
Current registration with Nursing Council of HK
Endoscopy related experience is highly preferred
Fluent in Cantonese, English and Putonghua an advantage
Pleasant personality, motivated, outgoing and client-oriented
Good communication skills, responsible, willing to learn, hard working and stable
Hands-on PC Knowledge
