With business growing strongly across the globe, a fantastic opportunity is now available to join our Asia Pacific Team as Account Manager for Malaysia (residing in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur or Petaling Jaya).

Overview

  • Fully accountable in managing the distribution channel partners in order to achieved growth and assigned annual sales budget
  • Identify and develop new distribution channels in the territory
  • Conduct business in the assigned market and responsible for prospecting, developing New Business as well as managing existing Key Accounts.
  • Form and uphold quality professional relationships with all tiers of the Ranpak Distribution network

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To prepare and timely update of business plan, CRM, weekly activities reporting
  • To review opportunities with channel partners on monthly basis
  • To provide sales support for distribution partners on potential customer leads generation, cold call, trial and sales follow up process
  • To plan and prepare key account and target new potential account visits
  • To implement sales strategy to address the business growth in relevant industrial segments
  • To provide necessary sales skills and product knowledge transfer to distributor sales team
  • To form and maintain quality professional relationships with the distribution network of your region
  • To act as a strategic marketing partner for the distributors
  • To act in compliance with the agreed business plans and methodologies
  • To meet and exceed your assigned sales targets

Requirements

  • Degree holder
  • Minimum 3 years and above industrial sales experience is required
  • Strong commercial drive and proven track record in sales
  • Experience selling through distribution channels is a plus
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to train and educate our distributor’s sales force as well as potential clients
  • Knowledgeable in consultative and solution based selling is preferred
  • Dynamic personality with entrepreneurial spirit
  • High sales drive with self-discipline, commitment and self-motivation
  • Strong communication skills in in both native and English
  • Possess a valid driving license
