Marketing & Communications Manager
Jigger & Pony Group is looking for a thoughtful, organised, and strategically-minded Marketing & Communications Manager to lead and elevate our marketing function.
This is a role for someone who understands that great hospitality brands are built through clear storytelling, strong execution, cultural relevance, and genuine relationships — with guests, media, partners, and the wider industry. You will own the day-to-day marketing operations of the Group while contributing to longer-term brand strategy, working closely with venue teams and senior leadership to develop campaigns, manage communications, and grow the Group's reputation and presence.
It is a hands-on managerial role: you will shape campaign narratives, manage multiple moving parts, and ensure every touchpoint is delivered with polish and purpose. You will also manage, mentor, and work cross-functionally with operations, events, and culinary teams to keep marketing activity well-integrated and consistently executed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project timelines, content calendars, campaign assets, press materials, and deliverables to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Work with senior management to develop and oversee the Group's annual marketing and communications calendar across all venues and brands, translating business objectives and brand values into clear campaign strategies and briefs
- Plan, manage, and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns across the Group's venues, ensuring every brand touchpoint is aligned in tone, visual identity, and messaging
- Develop and manage brand communications across all channels — social media, email, websites, reservation platforms, and in-venue materials — maintaining consistency across digital and physical output
- Develop and refine press materials including press releases, media alerts, tasting notes, and brand fact sheets; coordinate with media, influencers, and KOLs on tastings, previews, launches, and ongoing publicity
- Identify relevant media angles and storytelling opportunities across each brand, from menu development and team stories to events, awards, partnerships, and industry moments
- Oversee social media content across assigned brands, working with the team to plan and brief photography, short-form video, and campaign content in line with each platform's priorities
- Guide and develop junior team members across day-to-day execution, content development, and project coordination, acting as a reliable bridge between strategy and delivery
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, PR, or brand management, with a proven track record across campaign planning, execution, and reporting
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills — and the ability to adapt tone and messaging across different channels and audiences
- Good understanding of social media platforms, PR workflows, digital marketing channels, and content planning, with working knowledge of CMS platforms, email marketing tools, and basic analytics
- Able to brief and collaborate effectively with creatives, photographers, videographers, designers, PR partners, and junior team members
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the confidence to manage multiple brands, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, live events, and tight deadlines — with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
- Able to work independently while remaining a collaborative and reliable presence within the wider team
- A genuine passion for hospitality, food, drinks, and culture
