Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, control, and monitor plant preventive maintenance programs to ensure all machinery and equipment operate in optimal condition, with maximum reliability and efficiency.
- Drive operational excellence by optimizing resource utilization, manpower planning, and structured employee training, while promoting continuous improvement initiatives across the anodizing operations.
- Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the Company Quality Management System (ISO 9001), including planning and conducting internal quality audits in collaboration with the internal audit team.
- Motivate, coach, and develop subordinates to enhance technical competencies, work quality, and productivity in order to meet daily operational targets and budgeted performance levels.
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers for preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown support to minimize downtime and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers to investigate, analyze, and resolve product quality issues, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Approve and oversee subordinate administrative matters, including leave applications, purchasing requisitions for consumables, consumable stock requests, and verification and auditing of departmental cost reports.
- Plan and coordinate departmental plant layout, equipment modification projects, capacity planning, as well as method and time studies to improve workflow, productivity, and process efficiency.
- Provide technical and engineering support to continuously improve process control, yield optimization, cost effectiveness, and overall anodizing process performance.
- Ensure good housekeeping practices and actively promote safety awareness on the shop floor in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Organize and coordinate engineering design work, production scheduling, and lead times to meet customer delivery timelines, technical specifications, and cost objectives.
- Ensure all relevant technical data, production methods, work instructions, and customer specifications are effectively communicated to all.
- Actively participate in and enforce all company Safety and Health programs, activities, and campaigns, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company safety regulations.
