To support the numerous lawyers within the A&G Asia network, we have a dedicated Knowledge Management ("KM") team which works closely with our lawyers to provide professional support on many fronts.

As part of our Knowledge Management team, you would be expected to support the Firm's objective of delivering high-quality legal services through the effective management of legal knowledge, precedents, research resources and technology platforms. You will be required to work closely with partners and lawyers to develop and maintain the Firm's knowledge infrastructure, promote best practices, and drive the responsible adoption and use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools across the Firm. You will also be expected to work closely with the KM team based in Singapore and various business services teams within our network, including marketing and business development, administration and human resources.

Our Knowledge Management team is looking for an Associate or Legal Executive. You may have either a Malaysian or foreign law degree or qualification/s, and ideally you have two or more years' experience in legal practice, in legal information or publications, or in related roles. Candidates who do not meet the minimum two year(s) experience will still be considered depending on overall skillset. Experience in a law firm, research body or think tank will be an added advantage. The KM lawyer's responsibilities and diverse and will include:

• Conduct research and develop, maintain, and manage user-friendly legal knowledge materials, including precedents, know-how, guidelines, and articles
• Draft, review, and coordinate internal and external publications, including legal updates and thought leadership, and liaise with publishers on writing opportunities
• Collaborate with Partners and lawyers across practices on KM materials, thought leadership, and Firm-wide initiatives (including AI initiatives)
• Coordinate and develop internal training programmes, webinars, and related materials
• Develop and implement KM plans, systems, and processes, including managing the Firm’s precedent bank
• Maintain and update the Firm’s website and assist in managing subscriptions to online resources
• Provide KM support for Firm-wide and regional initiatives, including collaboration with A&G Asia
