Position: Senior Executive, ETL Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter / IICS
• Perform data integration, data migration, and transformation activities for banking systems
• Develop and optimize ETL workflows to ensure high performance and scalability
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large volumes of structured and unstructured data
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across systems
• Support data warehousing and reporting solutions
• Utilize Hadoop ecosystem tools for handling big data workloads where relevant
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures, performance bottlenecks, and data issues
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes, workflows, and data mappings
• Ensure compliance with banking regulatory and data governance standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in ETL development
• Hands-on experience with Informatica (PowerCenter / IICS / similar) is mandatory
• Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem (e.g., HDFS, Hive, Spark) is preferred
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
• Solid experience in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server)
• Experience working in banking or financial services industry is highly preferred
• Ability to handle large datasets and complex data environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Nice to Have:

1. Experience with cloud-based ETL tools or data platforms
2. Knowledge of data governance and regulatory requirements in banking
3. Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell)
