Job Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement functions including requisition processing, quotation evaluation, and supplier selection.
- Utilize and maintain procurement records using the company's procurement system.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct supplier negotiations to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, and Warehouse departments to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain an approved supplier database.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, ISO standards, and company procurement policies.
- Handle discrepancies related to delivery, pricing and quality with suppliers professionally.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and management summaries are required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and system usage.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Candidate must possess minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Purchasing & Procurement.
- Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, supplier management, and cost control practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate high integrity and professionalism.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am - 6.30pm)
