Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality hand soldering on through-hole components and PCB assemblies (PCBAs).
- Perform soldering and de-soldering using tools like soldering irons, hot air rework stations, and BGA rework equipment.
- Inspect soldering results to ensure quality and compliance with standards (voids, wetting, shorts, etc.).
- Identify defects such as cold solder joints, bridging, lifted pads, or misalignment
- Perform functional checks or assist in validation testing after rework
- Carry out additional rework tasks such as liquid masking, stuffing PCBAs, lead trimming, masking/unmasking, manual cleaning, repair damaged PCB traces, and mechanical assembly.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to repair or modify assemblies and components.
- Perform failure analysis and root-cause investigations
- Document rework procedures, debug findings, and test results
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and ensure all rework tools are in proper working condition.
- Always Adhere to safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) compliance standards.
DETAILED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Advanced/Higher Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience in rework operations
- Skilled in soldering, rework (including BGA), and PCB inspection.
- Knowledge of asset tracking systems, inventory control, and operational reporting.
- Strong coordination abilities with attention to detail.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
