Description


The primary role of the Business Development Coordinator is responsible for researching and pursuing new business leads for the growth of the business.
The role involves active coordination across teams and demands exceptional interpersonal skills. The executive is expected to work on new business proposals and presentations which are a persuasive representation of an organization’s products/services.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other materials for client meetings
  • Coordinate meetings and follow-up communications with potential clients
  • Support senior team members in managing client relationships and understanding client needs
  • Maintain an organized database of leads and business development activities
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for business growth strategies


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


  • Diploma or Bachelor’ degree in Business Management / Marketing/ or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good networking and social network with all the freight forwarder players in market.
  • Good knowledge and familiar with local and international governmental, customs, ocean and hazardous cargo regulations.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives minimum supervision.
  • Fast learner
