THE JOBSCOPE
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for the convention and event centre.
Manage and grow relationships with existing corporate, government, and association clients.
Conduct site inspections, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and follow up to close sales.
Work closely with the Events and Operations teams to ensure client needs are met from inquiry to event completion.
Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and forecasts.
Represent the property at trade shows, networking events, and client functions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to recommend strategies for business improvement.
Maintain high visibility within the market to strengthen brand presence and awareness.
Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and brand standards.
Assist in developing promotional plans and marketing activities to support business goals.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in hospitality, convention centres, or event management
Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets
Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage
Ability to work independently, handle multiple accounts, and manage deadlines effectively
Professional appearance and strong customer service orientation
