Job Summary

We are looking for an AI-native builder who can turn business problems into working tools. This is not a traditional software engineering role. You will work directly with business stakeholders, using AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) to ship internal web apps, automations, and workflow tools in days, not sprints. You will be self-sufficient, product-minded, and comfortable deploying your own work.

Key Responsibilities

• Build lightweight internal tools and web apps from business requirements end to end.
• Use AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor) as your primary development workflow.
• Automate manual business processes using no-code/low-code tools and custom scripts.
• Integrate with existing systems; Shopify, Lark, third-party APIs with minimal IT dependency.
• Deploy and maintain your own work on platforms like Vercel or Netlify.
• Translate vague business needs into scoped, shippable tools by asking the right questions.

Key Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on building experience (full-stack, frontend, or automation).
• Genuine comfort with AI-assisted coding as you use it by default, not reluctantly.
• Able to ship a working prototype in hours, not days.
• Product instinct — you ask 'who uses this and why' before writing a line of code.
• Familiarity with web deployment (Vercel, Netlify, or similar).
• Experience with API integrations, webhooks, or workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n).
• Strong written communication as you can spec a task and update stakeholders without hand-holding.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Claude API, OpenAI API, or similar LLM integrations.
• Familiarity with Shopify or e-commerce platforms.
• Prior work in a startup, ops team, or agency where speed was prioritised over perfection.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
