Key Responsibilities:
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop accurate monthly, weekly, and rolling forecasts at SKU, channel, and regional levels
- Analyze historical sales data, seasonality, and market trends to build baseline forecasts
- Incorporate inputs from sales (pipeline, distributor orders) and marketing (promotions, campaigns, new launches)
- Evaluate promotion uplift vs baseline demand
- Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting models
- Identify demand risks and propose mitigation strategies
Supply Planning
- Convert demand forecasts into supply and replenishment plans
- Coordinate with manufacturing, principals, or suppliers to ensure timely product availability
- Manage supply constraints such as production capacity, lead times, and minimum order quantities (MOQ)
- Establish safety stock levels and reorder points
- Monitor inbound shipments and adjust plans proactively to prevent disruptions
Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance availability and working capital
- Monitor stock cover, inventory turnover, and aging stock
- Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory through stock rebalancing or promotional strategies
- Ensure high availability of key SKUs and fast-moving items
Logistics & Distribution
- Plan and manage product distribution to warehouses, distributors, and retail channels
- Optimize delivery schedules and transportation costs
- Ensure timely order fulfillment and high service levels (OTIF)
- Allocate stock effectively during supply shortages
Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate inbound and outbound warehouse activities
- Ensure accurate stock handling, storage, and inventory records
- Work closely with warehouse teams to improve operational efficiency and reduce discrepancies
S&OP & Cross-functional Coordination
- Support monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
- Align demand and supply plans across sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams
- Identify gaps between demand and supply and recommend action plans
- Facilitate communication and execution of agreed supply chain strategies
Data Analysis, Reporting & Exception Management
- Track and report key supply chain KPIs (forecast accuracy, service level, inventory days, stockouts)
- Perform root cause analysis on forecast errors, stockouts, and supply delays
- Develop dashboards and reports using ERP systems and Excel
- Manage exceptions proactively and implement corrective actions
Job Requirements:
- Qualification Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field experience
- Industrial Background Preferred: 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or logistics (preferably in FMCG industry)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Solid understanding of demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
