Position Summary

We are searching for a meticulous inventory controller to manage the inventory for our company. In this role, you will be required to coordinate orders and deliveries, perform regular inventory audits and analysis, and forecast the supply and demand requirements to ensure consistent stock levels.

To ensure success as an inventory controller, you should be highly organized and have detailed knowledge of supply chain management software and practices. A top-notch inventory controller will be able to accurately forecast inventory requirements and possess excellent logistical abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and verifying inventory levels and movements..
  • Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stocks availability.
  • Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
  • Analyzing and reviewing supply chain and inventory movement data to identify and resolve issues.
  • Generating inventory data and building inventory metrics to give visibility for key decision making.
  • Performing regular stock checks like cycle counts, expiry checks and stock takes. Reporting any issues to the supervisor/manager. Maintaining and updating inventory records.
  • Represent Inventory in CRM - manage daily customer issues in relation to stocks.

Other Functions

  • Work alongside other departments such as purchasing, finance, sales and operations to facilitate inventory management processes.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-3 year of relevant experience as per job description.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software or warehouse management system will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis and cycle counting.
  • Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Working Arrangements

  • Monday - Friday : 9.00 AM - 6.00 PM
  • Saturday : 9.00 AM - 3.00 PM
  • Lunch break : 1 hour between 12.00 PM - 2.00 PM
  • Sunday : Rest day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
