Job Description
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
- Implementing and maintaining warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize storage solutions and streamline operations.
- Coordinating with procurement and supply chain teams to schedule deliveries and manage supply levels, ensuring stock availability and minimizing overstock.
- Enforcing safety and health regulations within the warehouse environment, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.
- Managing warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation, to ensure a productive and motivated team.
- Preparing and analyzing reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and order fulfillment rates to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Liaising with transport team and internal departments to resolve any shipping or receiving issues, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
