Electrical EngineerJob Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation for electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct technical studies and evaluations for newly designed equipment and obtain end-user approval prior to project execution.
• Perform basic and detailed engineering design, calculations, sizing, and analysis for electrical systems and review designs prepared by other parties.
• Review vendors’ drawings, technical documents, and equipment specifications prior to fabrication and installation.
• Liaise with the Project Management Team, clients, and end users on electrical engineering matters throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply international engineering standards, applicable codes, and relevant engineering software to support safe design, construction, and operation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams during the design and execution stages.
• Ensure all proposed designs, materials, and equipment comply with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Provide engineering support during construction, testing, commissioning, and project execution activities.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superior.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as Graduate Engineer (GE) or Professional Engineer (if applicable).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in engineering consultancy or EPC environment.
• Familiarity with oil & energy industry projects, both onshore and offshore, is preferred.
• Experience in electrical system design, power distribution, single line diagrams, load calculations, and engineering documentation will be an added advantage.
• Familiar or proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, ETAP, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of other electrical engineering design software will be an advantage.
• Strong coordination skills in managing project interfaces between disciplines and stakeholders.
• Good communication skills with ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering project team.
