Responsibilities
Software Design & Development
• Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end full stack solutions aligned with
product and architectural objectives.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services to support internal and
external system integrations.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to support operational and analytical use
cases.
Frontend & Backend Engineering
• Develop responsive frontend applications using modern web frameworks.
• Implement backend services using industry-standard frameworks and patterns,
with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Cloud & DevOps
• Deploy and operate applications on AWS-based cloud environments aligned
with GovTech standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and release
management.
• Support production deployments, system monitoring, and incident investigation
and resolution.
Agile & Collaboration
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews,
retrospectives).
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, data engineers, and
fellow developers.
• Provide technical inputs into solution design and architecture discussions.
Quality, Security & Documentation
• Ensure high code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and
documentation.
• Apply government-grade practices for security, data protection, and reliability.
• Maintain clear technical documentation to support handover and maintainability.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Consultant-level experience as a Full Stack Engineer / Software Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience in API design and development, backend service
development, and data pipeline or data-intensive application development.
• Proficiency in modern backend languages/frameworks (Java/Spring Boot,
Node.js, Python).
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Working experience in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
• Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience delivering government or public sector digital systems.
• Familiarity with GovTech engineering standards and ways of working.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and secure system design.
• Relevant AWS cloud certifications.
