Role & Responsibilities :

• Providing service and maintenance support : routine, predictive, preventive, breakdown and emergency maintenance for all types of instruments
• Establishing best practices and recommending improvements to enhance equipment and system effectiveness
• Performing calibration checks, loop tests and hydro-static tests
• Troubleshoot valves issues and performing valve strips, assessment, assembly and repair both in-house and at customer sites
• Conducting fault and root-cause analysis for technical issues involving hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, electrical or mechanical systems, developing corrective actions and determining resource needs
• Disassembling, repairing, reassembling and testing components
• Preparing Inspection & Test Plans and Quality Plans
• Liaising with third-party inspectors, testing labs and client representatives regarding inspection, test and product acceptance
• Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on test machines/systems
• Ensuring all field activities are carried out safely in compliance with company guidelines
• Preparing and submitting service reports upon completion of each request

Requirements :

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or related field)
• 1 - 2 years of experience in engineering or technical support roles, preferably in the valve/instrumentation industries
• Understanding of various valve/instruments types, application, specifications and standards in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, oleochemical, palm oil mills, manufacturing and any other related general industries
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia and ability to converse/communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage
• Able to work independently, fast learner and able to multitasks in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
