Responsibilities

Job Summary

Here is an outline of your basic duties and job functions as a Trainee Human Resource Assistant. This outline serves as a guide and is not meant to be exhaustive. Your superior will define further responsibilities and a precise degree of authority where applicable.

Job Description

1. To be able to handle the full spectrum of HR functions that include, but are not limited to, the administration of all statutory requirements i.e. Socso, EPF, Income Tax, HRDF, Labour Office, IR Dept., and Foreign Worker Issues.

2. To maintain an accurate employee database and personnel information in SAP System.

3. Attend to all HR official correspondence, internal as well as external.

4. Assist in overall recruitment activities for foreign workers and conduct new employees orientation programs for foreign workers.

5. Undertake Training administration and Undertake HRDF training grant application/claims process.

6. Filing of documents and maintaining a proper filing system.

7. Compile and maintain records for use in employee benefits administration.

8. Carry out regular inspections of employees’ attendance at all our facilities and provide feedback.

9. Attend to all disputes and disciplinary problems involving employees and assist in resolving them.

10. Assist in handling IR-related cases of foreign workers and highlight all irregular labor or I.R practices foreign workers.

11. Manage all types of leave and generate periodic reports.

12. Attend to all external and internal matters related to the employment of foreign workers. E.g. work permit renewal, Fomema,insurance etc.

13. Keep the HR Executive/Manager informed on all issues, decisions and any pertinent communication with any external party or within the plant.

14. Attend and prepare employees’ socso matters and file reports of accidents and injuries at the establishment.

15. Compile training records in accordance with ISO requirements and participate & represent the HR dept in all ISO matters.

16. Assist in Company Uniform matters.

18. To handle foreign workers’ welfare and to do weekly hostel inspections and monitor staff locker.

19. To undertake any ad-hoc project or any other related task that may be assigned to you from time to time by your superior

Job Requirement

1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or any other related disciplines

2. Working knowledge of HR functions.

3. Knowledge of computer applications i.e. MS Excel and HR-specific software SAP)

4. Reporting and communication skills.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
