Responsibilities
Join our client, a well reputed main construction firm for a WSHE Manager to lead safety operations across mid- to large-scale high-rise building projects, ensure top-tier compliance, risk management, and workforce protection from foundation to completion. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for experienced construction safety professionals ready to drive safety excellence in complex vertical developments.
Lead and oversee all Workplace Safety, Health, Environmental, and Fire Safety (WSHE) functions across multiple construction projects.
Drive strategic WSHE planning, compliance, and operational excellence in line with MOM, NEA, and Singapore regulatory standards.
Serve as the key advisor to senior management on safety governance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
Lead implementation, review, and enhancement of WSHE Management Systems across projects.
Develop corporate-level safety strategies, policies, and compliance frameworks.
Advise senior project teams on legislative updates, risk controls, and environmental management.
Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive action implementation.
Manage all regulatory inspections, authority engagements, audits, and compliance reporting.
Direct permit-to-work systems, emergency response planning, fire safety, and business continuity programs.
Oversee subcontractor compliance, safety personnel performance, and site WSHE officers.
Lead safety committees, corporate reporting, award submissions, and organization-wide WSHE initiatives.
Drive sustainability initiatives including resource conservation, environmental controls, and community impact reduction.
Mentor and develop WSHE teams, ensuring strong leadership succession and capability building.
Requirements:
Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline.
Registered WSHO with MOM and ECO with NEA.
Minimum 8–10 years of construction WSHE experience, including leadership or managerial capacity.
Proven track record managing large-scale building, civil, or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH, environmental, and fire safety regulations.
