Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily freight forwarding and transportation operations.
- Coordinate import and export shipment arrangements with clients, carriers, shipping lines, airlines, and logistics partners.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery of cargo.
- Handle freight documentation including invoices, permits, customs clearance documents, and shipping instructions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners.
- Resolve operational issues, shipment delays, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Monitor transportation costs and optimize logistics efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Supervise and guide operations staff and coordinate workflow within the logistics team.
- Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management regarding shipment status and business performance.
- Support business development activities and identify opportunities to expand logistics services.
