Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented CNC Milling Machinist to join our Toolroom / Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for CNC machine setup, machining operations, NX programming support, and precision tooling activities within a manufacturing environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform CNC machine setup and CNC Milling operations
- Perform self-programming using NX Software
- Prepare electrodes extraction and NC programming using NX Software
- Conduct self-inspection on finished workpieces based on engineering drawing specifications
- Arrange subsequent machining process, next job setup, and NC programming activities
- Operate CNC EDM machine and Wire Cut machine knowledge will be an added advantage
- Ensure machining quality and dimensional accuracy of workpieces
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications
- Perform housekeeping and comply with workplace safety procedures
- Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- NTC / NITEC / Diploma in Precision Engineering or related field
- Experience in CNC Milling and machine setup
- Hands-on experience in NX Software programming preferred
- Familiar with precision machining processes and tooling environment
- Able to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments
- Experience operating EDM or Wire Cut machines will be an added advantage
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in manufacturing environment
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8.15am – 5.15pm
- Saturday: 8.15am – 12.15pm
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: $2,500 – $3,000 per month
- Attendance Allowance: $100/month
