Business Development Specialist (Junior/Senior)

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new B2B business opportunities within the logistics and courier industry
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across SME and corporate accounts
- Develop customized logistics solutions based on client business needs
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and client presentations to negotiation and deal closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive long-term business growth and customer retention
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service excellence and effective solution delivery
- Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs while preparing regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that support overall business expansion and revenue growth
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of business development / sales experience
- Must come from logistics service providers, including:
- Courier / Express Delivery
- Air Freight
- Freight Forwarding
- Parcel Delivery
- Supply Chain / Logistics Solutions
Skills & Expertise
- Strong B2B sales and account acquisition experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Good understanding of logistics operations and service offerings
- Ability to identify customer pain points and propose commercial solutions
Preferred Profile
- Existing network within logistics-related industries is an added advantage
- Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and commercially minded
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
