Role Summary
As a System Engineer, you will be assigned to work on the design, implementation and commissioning of new system and or handling maintenance system.
Main Responsibilities
- AzureStack Hub Virtualisation Environment– VM configuration and deployment, including AzureStack services that supports the VMs (NSG, Load balancer, Virtual Images, Storages, etc.)
- Windows Server 2019 (or 2016): Server configuration, Windows Domain Administration, Microsoft Failover Clustering, Windows RDS Architecture, GPO, OS hardening, OS patching, upgrading.
- Microsoft SQL 2019, 2016/7: Configuration, upgrading, hardening and administration.
- Deployment and maintenance of Linux-based Virtual Appliance.
- Deployment and maintenance of Ubuntu OS.
- Commvault: configuration and management of backup jobs.
- Networks and network security concepts, design and implementation.
- System Security concepts, SSL Certificates.
- Preventive Maintenance Tasks.
- On standby and to respond to system fault at site 24/7 and communication with user on the fault.
- Hands-on/ground-level work on VMs in Datacentre.
- Skill set to perform analyzing/proposing system architecture/solution for system requirements System Documentation.
- Planning and Assisting in the upcoming system migration to the Kubernetes platform for project turnkey.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or relevant fields.
- Minimally 2–5 years of hands-on experience and at least 5 or more skills required as stated above.
- Knowledge and experience in DevOps operation.
- Knowledge and experience with Ansible.
