Job Summary

Manage daily store operations and lead retail staff to ensure efficient inventory control, excellent customer service, and effective sales promotion in a fresh produce retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stock levels to maintain adequate inventory and minimize spoilage of perishable fruits
• Control storage temperatures to ensure product freshness and safety
• Manage daily store opening and closing procedures to ensure smooth operations
• Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and customer appeal
• Operate cashiering systems accurately to process sales transactions
• Supervise, train, and schedule retail staff and service crew to maintain high team performance
• Resolve customer inquiries and manage feedback to improve service quality
• Drive sales promotions to increase store revenue and customer engagement

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience managing retail, F&B, or supermarket operations, specifically with fresh produce
• Strong leadership skills demonstrated by effectively managing teams in retail settings
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with staff and engage customers
• Basic computer and POS system skills to support store operations
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays to meet business needs
