Job Description – OpenText BPM Consultant / Developer

Location: KL, Malaysia

Contract: 12+ Months and Extendable

We are looking for an experienced OpenText BPM Consultant/Developer to design, develop, and support business process management solutions using the OpenText platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement workflows and business process solutions using OpenText BPM.

Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Configure and customize OpenText applications, forms, workflows, and integrations.

Develop process automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Integrate OpenText BPM with external applications, databases, and enterprise systems.

Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.

Support production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Prepare technical documentation and user guides.

Collaborate with business users, project managers, and cross-functional teams.

Ensure compliance with security, governance, and organizational standards.

Required Skills

Strong experience in OpenText BPM / OpenText AppWorks / Process Suite.

Knowledge of workflow design, process automation, and case management.

Experience in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, or related technologies.

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.

Understanding of BPM lifecycle and business process optimization.

Familiarity with database management and document management systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with OpenText Content Server or ECM solutions.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Exposure to cloud-based BPM solutions.

Certification in OpenText technologies is an added advantage.

Experience

3+ years / 5+ years of relevant OpenText BPM experience.
