Technical Pre-Sales Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant to join a growing team supporting enterprise digital transformation projects across government and financial services sectors. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong software development background in Java or C# who are interested in transitioning into a client-facing pre-sales and solution consulting career.

You will work closely with sales, project delivery, and technical teams to understand client requirements, propose suitable technical solutions, and support business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to gather business and technical requirements
• Provide solution presentations, product demonstrations, and technical consultations
• Translate client needs into solution proposals and technical documentation
• Support RFP/RFI responses, proposal preparation, and solution architecture discussions
• Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and proof-of-concept activities
• Support government and financial services related digital projects
• Stay updated on technology trends and enterprise solution offerings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• 3–5 years of software development experience in Java or C#/.NET
• Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, and enterprise applications
• Interest in moving into a technical pre-sales / solution consulting career path
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Experience working on government, banking, or financial services projects is an advantage
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in preparing technical documentation or solution proposals is a plus

• Candidates with hands-on development experience who enjoy client interaction
• Strong problem-solving and consultative mindset
• Exposure to cloud platforms, enterprise systems, or digital transformation projects is beneficial
