Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Inspector role located in Singapore. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections on incoming and outgoing electronic components to ensure compliance with quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing quality assurance checks, documenting inspection results, coordinating with teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and supporting the implementation of quality management systems. The role requires collaborating effectively to maintain product integrity and compliance.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

1.      Detailed visual inspection of product packaging and labeling

2.      Overall detailed visual inspection of product including inspection of the topside surface, underside surface, leads and surface edges

3.      Determine suspect conditions that identify possible suspect, counterfeit or used product

4.      Identify and sort product by part number, manufacturer, date code, lot code, serial number and country of origin

5.      Utilize inspection equipment including, but not limited to, microscopes, cameras and calipers

6.      Utilize various counting machines, weight counters, tape and reel counters and diode counters

7.      Use chemicals/solvents to determine if product has been physically altered

8.      Research and compare physical product to manufacturer data sheets

9.      Determine moisture sensitivity level of product

10.  Handle and Package components in accordance with ESD and MSL standards

11.  Communicate with internal and external customers

12.  Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor


Qualifications:

1.      Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

2.      Operating various office equipment as required

3.      Ability to understand both written and oral English instructions

4.      Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds

5.      Must have attention to detail

6.      Previous inspection experience preferred

7.      Ability to perform a variety of mathematical calculations
