Job Description

Responsibilities

This position is a 12 months contract in developing and enhancing our current LIMS system in Korea to enable dual-usage (CN/KR). You will be based in Malaysia while reporting to your superior in Korea.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js
  • Build scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Optimize applications for performance and scalability
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions


Required Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years working experience with React / Next.js + Node.js / NestJS
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Experience with React and Next.js
  • Experience with Node.js and NestJS (or similar frameworks like Express)
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g., Oracle)
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory
  • Proficiency in Korean or Mandarin or French is an added advantage


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Extensive knowledge on relational database (preferrable Oracle / Postgresql)
  • Experience with collaborative development platform (Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience with authentication and security best practices
  • Understanding of microservices architecture
