MYFutureJobs are currently assisting TRANS-RUBY SDN BHD in identifying a qualified and driven professional to join their team in the construction sector.

We are looking for a Project Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Services) who can onboard immediately to oversee key site activities and ensure high-quality project delivery in Johor Bahru.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Coordination & Troubleshooting: Resolve on-site engineering issues and actively coordinate with main contractors, clients, consultants, and local authorities.
• Project Planning Support: Assist the Project Manager in the overall planning, implementation, and successful completion of project milestones.
• Subcontractor Management: Supervise, monitor, and evaluate subcontractor work progress to ensure compliance with timelines.
• Quality & Cost Control: Liaise with the site project team to execute quality checklists and report weekly to superiors regarding site quality, progress, and cost control.
• Meetings & Documentation: Attend site meetings and prepare project reports and technical documentation for regular updates.
• Defect Rectification: Coordinate with the service department to manage and resolve site defects efficiently.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in site supervision within the construction industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong design and installation knowledge of M&E services, specifically Fire Fighting and Plumbing services.
• Skills: Proficient in reading engineering/construction drawings and skilled in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Attributes: Able to work independently with a good work attitude, self-motivated, and willing to travel outstation when required.
• Availability: Immediate availability or short notice period is highly preferred.
