About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes (Direct & Indirect), including RFQ issuance, Purchase Order creation, supplier appointment, and delivery of goods and services.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers across departments (IT, Marketing, After Sales, Charging), negotiating favourable terms to enhance product quality and achieve cost savings (including 20% savings realized).
• Support Contract Owners throughout the contract lifecycle—from preparation, negotiation, and execution to renewal—ensuring compliance and alignment with business needs.
• Support vendor evaluation and selection to ensure alignment with technical and commercial requirements while strengthening competitive advantage.
• Draft, review, and execute procurement contracts with a focus on risk mitigation and securing optimal commercial terms, especially for technology-related acquisitions.
• Improve procurement workflows by implementing digital tools and automating manual processes to enhance efficiency and reduce purchase-to-delivery timelines.
• Drive contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure supply consistency, optimize cost structures, and elevate service and performance levels.
• Prepare and issue tender documents, evaluate submissions based on commercial and technical criteria, and lead negotiation processes to secure competitive pricing.
• Support expediting activities and ensure timely delivery through proactive engagement with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably within the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
• Good knowledge of contract management, tender processes, sourcing strategies, and procurement best practices.
• Demonstrate cost-saving initiatives and procurement process improvements.
• Good negotiation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with localization and supplier development projects, particularly within the automotive aftermarket environment.
• Proficient in procurement systems/tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
