Logistic In-House Supervisor (Assembly Shop-Unboxing/Kitting)

Location: Lembah Beringin, Hulu Selangor, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Supervisor located in the Lembah Beringin, Malaysia. The Logistics Supervisor will oversee daily operations related to the supply chain, manage inventory, and ensure efficient transportation processes. Responsibilities include leading a team to meet goals, maintaining customer service excellence, and optimizing operational workflows to support company objectives. The role emphasizes attention to detail and effective communication to streamline logistics and inventory processes.


Qualifications

  • Strong Supervisory Skills for managing and leading teams effectively
  • Excellent Communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and resolve issues efficiently
  • Expertise in Operations Management and Inventory Management to ensure seamless logistics processes
  • Customer Service skills to uphold high standards of client satisfaction
  • Ability to handle dynamic environments and adapt to operational challenges
  • Proficiency in logistics-related software or tools is preferred
  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is a plus
  • Willing to relocate as per new plant located.
  • 3–5 years of experience in local inbound receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on experience in day-to-day receiving and ERP material handling.


Competencies & Skills requirement:

  • Strong understanding of local inbound receiving, warehouse operations, material handling, and automotive production support.
  •  Working knowledge of ERP systems, receiving documentation, and inventory control.
  • Ability to supervise shopfloor operations, prioritize tasks, and meet operational targets.
  • Attention to detail ensure material receipt accuracy, proper storage, and documentation.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving operational issues.
  • Effective communication and coordination with team members and internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. • Proactive approach to participate in process improvement initiatives.
