Melody Strings is an established premium string music academy in Singapore since 2014. We provide Violin, Viola and Cello lessons for children 4-17 years old.

We are hiring a Part Time / Full-Time Cello Teacher to join our team of passionate music educators. Candidates should possess a professional music training background, a strong passion for teaching young learners, and excellent communication skills.

Job Description:

• Conduct individual and group lessons, tailored to the specific needs and skill levels of students.
• Teach G1 to G5 music theory and aural.
• Develop and customize lesson plans and curriculum to meet the learning objectives and musical goals of each student.
• Prepare students for the ABRSM examination, recital, concert, music festivals, and competitions.
• Able to master the instruments knowledge and promote the string instruments to parents.
• Other ad-hoc duties might be required as operational needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Music performance
• At least 2 years of experience teaching Cello to students and all skill levels
• Knowledge of music theory, repertoire, and performance techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students to reach their full potential
