Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our dynamicteam, focusing on our mobile banking application. The QA / Tester will be responsible forensuring that our mobile app meets the highest standards of quality, security, and userexperience. This role involves conducting various tests, identifying issues and working closelywith the development team to resolve any defects.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Execution:

• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts specificallyfor the mobile banking app.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on iOS and Androidplatforms.
• Conduct security and fraud counter measures testing to ensure the app complies withindustry standards, BNM RMIT and protects user data.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure the mobile banking app meets the highest quality standards before release.
• Validate that user expectations are met during the testing process, focusing on usability anduser experience.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understandrequirements and resolve issues.

Bug Identification and Tracking

• Identify, record, document, and track bugs using bug tracking software.
• Work closely with development team to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues.

Automation:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and increasecoverage
• Utilize mobile testing frameworks, and tools to enhance test efficiency

Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test results, defect logs,and test status reports.
• Create and update user manuals and other documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA or Tester in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financialservices industry.
• Experience in testing mobile applications on both IOS and Android platforms.
• Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Appium, Selenium, TestComplete)
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functionalteams.
• Knowledge of security testing and industry standards for mobile banking application is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices for mobile applications.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
