Responsibilities
A reputable firm is currently expanding their security systems team in Hong Kong and is looking for Security Consultant for their projects
Responsibilities:
Implement cyber security initiatives such as PIM, SIEM, DLP, APT (and related controls).
Plan, design, and deploy solutions to prevent cyber attacks and intrusions.
Set up security monitoring and logging for investigation and analytics.
Coordinate with network, system, security, operations, and development teams for cyber resilience improvements.
Define and maintain standards/guidelines for secure configuration of systems and networks.
Evaluate new security technologies to address evolving threats.
Install, upgrade, and maintain security tools across different platforms
Requirements:
University degree in IT / Information Security / Computer Science or related field.
5 years or more experience in network security / security architecture .
Knowledge of network security in any of the following: firewalls, router ACL, IPS/IDS, network access control
Experience with open-platform technologies and server virtualization.
Experience in Layer 2/3 networking and routing (TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLAN).
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience in major financial institutions is an advantage
SOC, DLP, SIEM experience is an advantage.
Less experienced candidates may be considered for Security Specialist
