REA Partners Hiring! Full Time Internal Auditor - REA Partners in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, with emphasis on finance processes, payment authorizations, and construction project management.
2. Develop, improve, and implement internal control procedures, policies, manuals, process maps, and risk-control matrices to strengthen governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
3. Lead internal audit activities including risk assessments, periodic audits, thematic reviews (especially in construction projects), and year-end operational reviews to test compliance and control effectiveness.
4. Prepare professional audit reports with actionable recommendations, follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely implementation and closure of remediation actions.
5. Build awareness through training and communication, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed strong controls during process or system changes.

Requirements:

1. Degree or above in accounting, finance, risk management, or a related discipline. ·
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in internal audit or internal control from real estate, construction or developer companies.
3. Candidates with Big Four audit training experience is highly preferred
4. Holder of qualified accountant CPA (HKICPA / CPA Australia / ACCA / AICPA). ·
5. Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
