Position: Assistant Manager, Secretarial & Corporate Relations
Client: A well-established, public-listed company in Malaysia with a strong presence in auto financing and a stable, growing business.
Location: Pudu, Kuala Lumpur
Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: up to RM8,000
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced corporate secretarial professional to support the Group’s compliance with the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and corporate governance best practices. This role offers exposure to AGM preparation, annual report coordination, Bursa announcements, and corporate exercises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance with statutory and listing requirements
- Coordinate Board, Committee, and shareholder meetings, including preparation of minutes
- Prepare and submit statutory filings and returns to SSM and relevant authorities
- Draft and coordinate Bursa Malaysia announcements
- Assist in the preparation of the Annual Report and Annual General Meeting (AGM)
- Prepare documentation and resolutions for corporate exercises
- Supervise and review work performed by junior team members
- Maintain statutory registers and corporate records
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Professional qualification such as ICSA / MAICSA / SSM is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience in company secretarial or corporate governance functions
- Experience in a public listed company environment is highly preferred
- Good knowledge of Companies Act 2016 and Bursa Listing Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Salary:
- up to RM8,000 (depends on performance and experience)
