Job Summary
The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests by providing professional food and beverage service in accordance with Sofitel luxury hospitality standards. The role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and teamwork to ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and explain food or beverage recommendations
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards
- Ensure tables are properly set up and maintained throughout service
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with meals and service
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and promptly
- Process bills and payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and hotel policies
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant or hotel F&B service is an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Pleasant personality with professional grooming
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Team player with positive attitude
- Basic English communication skills; additional languages are a plus
