JOB DESCRIPTION
A. SEDA FiT Project Coordination
- Coordinate SEDA Feed-in Tariff (FiT) requirements including documentation, submission, and compliance tracking.
- Prepare and submit reports to SEDA and relevant authorities.
- Monitor FiT milestones, reporting timelines, and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure full adherence to FiT conditions.
B. Project Coordination & Engineering
- Coordinate project development and engineering activities with internal teams, consultants, and vendors.
- Prepare and review technical documents (PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, engineering reports).
- Develop EPC tender documentation and participate in vendor evaluation processes.
- Track project progress, key milestones, and deliverables, and report status to the Project Manager.
C. Technical Support (Operating Plant)
- Provide technical support for biogas plants, including gas engines and auxiliary systems.
- Troubleshoot plant issues covering mechanical, electrical, or process-related aspects.
- Investigate equipment failures and carry out root cause analysis with corrective actions.
- Coordinate with O&M teams, vendors, and specialists for diagnostics and technical resolution.
- Support maintenance activities including scoping, planning, and technical review.
D. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare FiT submissions, project updates, technical reports, and basic financial analysis.
- Maintain structured and up-to-date documentation for compliance, coordination, and technical records.
- Track action items, issues, and resolutions across projects and plant operations.
E. General Responsibilities
- Execute project coordination and reporting functions.
- Act as the interface between project, O&M, and vendor teams.
- Build technical knowledge in biogas systems, FiT compliance, and gas engine operations.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Fresh graduates with internship exposure to biogas, gas engines, or power generation systems are encouraged to apply.
- 1–2 years of experience in biogas, power generation, wastewater, or related industries.
- Exposure to gas engines, plant operations, or project coordination is an advantage.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance or troubleshooting activities is preferred.
- Knowledge of SEDA FiT submission, reporting, or compliance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of anaerobic digestion and biogas systems.
- Working knowledge of gas engine systems and auxiliaries.
- Familiarity with PFDs, P&IDs, and engineering documentation.
- Ability to perform performance tracking and reporting (Excel-based).
- Understanding of FiT compliance requirements is an added advantage.
- Strong coordination and follow-through.
- Effective communication with vendors, O&M teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong tracking and reporting capability.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Additional Requirements
- Willing to travel for site visits, coordination, and verification activities.
- Possess a valid driving licence and own transport (preferred).
Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
