Requirements:

• Has experience in maintenance at least 3 years (manufacturing industry would be an advantage)
• 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to work at Rawang, Selangor
• Strong communication (shop floor to top management)
• Planning, prioritization, and time management

Job Description:

• To lead & manage an engineering team which maintains factory machineries, plant equipment and manufacturing process improvement.
• To assist and advise factory management in execution of machineries installation, initial machinery parameter and factory set up.
• To plan & organize service and repair production mould, tooling and delivery racks, WIP racks and others.
• To plan & organize preventive / periodic maintenance works with minimum interruption to the production line with consideration of machine capacity and supply forecast.
• To plan and organize maintenance works needs i.e. optimum spare part inventory, “lubricant”, tooling and manpower.
• To analyze report and advise factory management on machine condition and necessary action required on data and observation recorded during daily checklist and periodic maintenance.
• To monitor and report overall equipment efficiency with objective of lower cost of operation through higher machine availability
• To draft specification, call tender, evaluate and propose suitable contractor and monitor outsource or contract works
• To maintain and advise factory management on safety condition of the machineries and plant equipment
• To monitor maintenance cost incurred versus budgeted cost
