We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging educational and edutainment-style videos for digital platforms. This role focuses on transforming knowledge-based content into compelling visual stories that are easy to understand, visually appealing, and optimized for audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce long form high-quality educational, informational, and promotional videos for platforms such as YouTube and social media
• Enhance video content with subtitles in English, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and proper timing
• Apply engaging editing techniques (e.g., jump cuts, text overlays, graphics, pacing) to improve viewer retention
• Ensure consistency in branding, style, and tone across all video content
• Perform thorough quality checks on visuals, audio, subtitles, and overall presentation before publishing
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to align with content objectives and messaging
• Organize and manage raw footage, assets, and project files efficiently
• Stay updated with YouTube trends, editing styles, and audience engagement strategies

Requirements:

• Proven experience in long form video editing, preferably for YouTube or digital content platforms
• Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Strong command of English and Mandarin (for subtitle creation and proofreading)
• Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience editing talking-head, educational, or personal development content
• Basic motion graphics and animation skills

Working hour: Monday to Friday 9AM to 6PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
