Candidate will be part of our Compliance Team at Gourmet Ingredients, and play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will oversee the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our quality systems, while reporting to Compliance Manager. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Systems Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to comply with FSSC 22000, ISO, HACCP, and HALAL requirements.
- Conduct regular audits (internal and external) to ensure compliance with certifications and regulations.
- Lead the resolution of non-conformities by implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Product Quality Control
- Oversee daily quality control checks during production, packaging, and shipping to ensure adherence to product specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis for product quality issues and lead process improvements.
- Review and approve product formulations, specifications, and labels for compliance.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for audits and regulatory purposes.
- Prepare monthly quality performance reports and present key findings to management.
Customer and Supplier Quality Management
- Address customer complaints by investigating issues and providing timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw material quality standards are met.
Key Role Objectives:
- Ensure all products meet local and international food safety standards.
- Proactively identify quality risks and implement effective mitigations.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness across the organization.
- Enhance the efficiency and reliability of quality assurance processes.
