Manage the inbound loads and coordinate to ensure accurate arrival times
Manage shipment documents such as K1, K2, Invoice, Packing list and Billing of Lading
Check, confirm, inform shipment details and follow up on import process to all related party to ensure the smooth shipment and importation.
Analysis costs, coordinating customs clearances and permits.
Prepare related documents for import and shipment, ensure import document are completed and in line with government regulation and company policy.
Manages all Third-Party Logistics Service Providers’ contract and ensure KPIs are met.
Monitor, raise, communicate and negotiate request or order with all related parties (both internal or external) to ensure shipments have sufficient free time.
Coordinate with warehouse team to optimize stock storage plan in different warehouses to achieve efficient inbound process.
Responsible for reporting related to preparation of cost report, monthly arrivals and other related reports.
Carrier Contract negotiations and compliance
Development of carrier scorecards and formalized, structured carrier business reviews.
Develop and implement process improvements
Identifies areas of improvement with focus on efficiency and cost savings.
Job Requirements:
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in the logistics and FMCG industry.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience.
Previous P&L and/or budget experience.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Proven leadership in a comparable environment; including management of exempt level staff.
Decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills.
PC skills including proficiency in use of MS Word & Excel.
Strong knowledge of SAP, MicroStrategy, Warehouse Management System or Transport Management System.
