Join our dynamic team as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services and ensuring patient care is always prioritized.
Conduct general ultrasound studies, including abdominal ultrasounds, small parts, and obstetrics & gynecology imaging.
Perform vascular and Doppler studies, specifically peripheral arterial and venous assessments, as well as carotid ultrasounds.
Ensure all images produced are of diagnostic quality for accurate radiological reporting, while upholding patient welfare and clinical responsibility.
Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of imaging equipment, including executing weekly and monthly quality assurance tests and maintaining service records.
Manage inventory and the ordering schedule for consumables related to imaging.
Maintain records of the number of radiographic examinations performed.
Support the Medical Director and Radiologist in research work for publication in medical journals.
Follow all directives from senior management and actively contribute to the interests of the medical facility.
Maintain all necessary certifications, licenses, or authorizations required for your role.
Exhibit professionalism and diligence in all tasks.
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Radiology Manager or Centre Manager.
Diploma or Degree in Sonography or Medical Imaging Science.
AHPC registered with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Willingness to work 5.5 days a week.
