Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and fast-paced L1 Analyst to join our Client Onboarding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and verifying Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation for both individual and entity clients, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have payments and crypto experience, including on-chain wallet KYC/KYT, and the ability to work under high pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• KYC Documentation Review: Perform comprehensive CDD/EDD checks on new and existing clients (individuals and entities), including identity verification, corporate structures, and source of funds.
• On-chain Wallet KYT: Utilize blockchain forensics tools to perform KYT (Know Your Transaction) analysis on incoming/outgoing wallet transactions to assess risk.
• Client Communication & Advisory: Act as the primary point of contact to guide clients through the onboarding process, resolving discrepancies, and explaining documentation requirements.
• Risk Assessment: Identify red flags, screen against PEP/Sanctions/Adverse Media lists, and escalate high-risk cases to Compliance and Management.
• Case Pipeline Management: Manage a portfolio of onboarding cases, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and within service level agreements (SLAs).
• Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to internal procedures and contribute to ad-hoc compliance projects.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 4–5 years of experience in client onboarding, specifically in KYC/AML within banking, fintech, or digital assets.
• KYC/KYB Knowledge: Proven experience handling both individual and entity (corporate/trust/fund) onboarding.
• Crypto Expertise: Hands-on experience with on-chain wallet KYT tools (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs) is highly preferred.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Work Style: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and deadline-driven environment.
