Job Overview

We are seeking a Reliability Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support IT operations, monitoring, automation, and project delivery activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operational monitoring, scripting, automation, and infrastructure support across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Observability & Proactive Monitoring

• Monitor system, infrastructure, and application health to ensure operational stability and availability
• Install, configure, and manage enterprise monitoring and observability tools
• Implement and enhance monitoring solutions to improve operational visibility and proactive incident detection
• Analyze logs, system metrics, and operational data to generate dashboards, reports, and insights
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for monitoring and operational processes

Automation & Operational Efficiency

• Automate day-to-day operational tasks using Ansible, Jenkins, Shell scripting, PowerShell, or Python
• Develop scripts and automation workflows to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance reliability
• Support CI/CD and automation-related operational activities

Reliability Engineering & Operations Support

• Provide operational and project support to IT and infrastructure teams
• Handle service requests and support activities related to reliability engineering
• Participate in production incident response and troubleshooting activities
• Support project cutovers, deployments, and maintenance activities, including after-office-hours support where required
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations, automation, monitoring, or reliability engineering
• Strong scripting experience (minimum 2 years) using Ansible, Shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Unix, cloud platforms (AWS), middleware, and database environments
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of operational support and incident management processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

• SRE certification or equivalent certification
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and mission-critical systems
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code concepts

Soft Skills

• Strong ownership and accountability mindset
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
• Comfortable working in high-pressure and time-sensitive environments
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and operational improvement
