Role Description

This is a contract, on-site Physiotherapist role located at Kelana Jaya Medical Centre in Petaling Jaya. The Physiotherapist will assess patient conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to improve physical function and mobility. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting physical therapy sessions, educating patients on exercises and recovery strategies, monitoring progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. The role also involves advising patients on injury prevention and prescribing therapeutic exercises based on their specific needs.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in physiotherapy techniques, including assessment, manual therapy, and rehabilitation exercises
  • Strong patient communication and education skills, with the ability to adapt treatments to individual needs
  • Knowledge of injury prevention, therapeutic exercise prescription, and pain management strategies
  • Experience in working collaboratively with healthcare professionals for seamless patient care
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy or a related field from a recognized institution
  • Registration with the relevant local Physiotherapy authority or council
  • Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is advantageous
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple patients effectively
