Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols and security checks within hotel premises and report any suspicious, maintenance and/ or hazardous concerns to the Security Manager.
• Provide crowd and traffic control within the premises, including during VIPs visits and official events.
• Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage and other incidents to the Security Manager.
• Prepare Incident Report pertaining to all safety and security related incidents after the necessary actions have been taken.
• Manage undesirable behavior in a professional manner, intervene and defuse potential altercations.
• Constantly remain updated on fire evacuation procedures, and handle catastrophic situations such as bomb threats and evacuation procedures effectively.
• Oversee carpark operations and render assistance where necessary.
• Assist Front Desk Office with luggage and transport arrangements.

Requirements:

• Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry.
• Holder of a valid security license issued from the Singapore Police Force.
• Ability to maintain a sound sense of judgment in emergency situations.
• Mature and positive individual.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Completed WSQ Security module (Provide Guard and Patrol Services, Handle Security Incidents and Services, Recognise Terrorist Threats)
• First Aid, CPR and AED certified.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
