Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

As an Electronics R&D Engineer, you will lead the full lifecycle of technical projects by designing and implementing integrated hardware, software, and Edge AI solutions. You will collaborate across teams in Singapore and Shanghai and manage vendor partnerships to deliver innovative, client-focused systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design system architectures integrating electronic hardware, embedded software, and AI applications tailored to client requirements

  • Lead prototyping and development of embedded systems and robotics interfaces to ensure seamless AI module integration

  • Develop detailed technical documentation including specifications, system schematics, and implementation roadmaps

  • Plan, execute, and monitor project milestones to deliver solutions on time and within budget

  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure deliverables meet performance standards and client expectations

  • Manage external vendors and technology partners to secure quality sourcing and collaborative technical execution

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal business units to align project goals

  • Coordinate cross-border collaboration with teams in Singapore and Shanghai to optimize regional resources

  • Provide pre-sales technical support and post-sales follow-up to build and maintain long-term client relationships

Required competencies and certifications

  • Professional fluency in English and Mandarin to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders in Singapore and China

  • Proven experience in embedded systems development, Strong understanding of the interplay between hardware circuitry, firmware, and high-level software/AI frameworks.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

  • A rapid learner who can stay ahead of emerging tech trends (AI, IoT, Robotics) and apply them to real-world problems.

  • A proactive, "can-do" mindset with the resilience to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, or a related Engineering discipline
